LFS (Leeds Fashion Show ) is a creative not for profit organisation supporting people to bridge the gap between education and the fashion industry.
Our aim is to provide people, with a realistic insight into what it means to work in fashion. From hands on workshops and industry days to high profile catwalk events, learning important practical skills while also developing the confidence and experience they need to succeed in the future.
Established as a way for emerging designers, boutiques, models and fashion students to showcase their designs and talent before an audience of style experts, retail consumers and the media. Recognising the rapid changes in today's economy, LFS provides a way for those in the fashion, retail and beauty industries to remain relevant by providing them with an affordable way to promote their products and their businesses on a local and national level
The Dress Me Beautiful event makes its mark as an extraordinary collaborative effort of sponsors, fashion industry professionals, marketers, business owners and attendees who are supporting local entrepreneurs, highlighting a unique pool of creative talent and encouraging upcoming designers of the future.
Our Aims
- To seek and support a community of up-and-coming and undiscovered talent in the realm of fashion. We believes in the value of spotlighting a new generation of innovative designers in the multiple genres of fashion.
- To attract attention to the creative talent, we have in the North of England. At the same time opening opportunities for business development of local products, mostly those that are related to fashion, accessories and other products in the textile industry
- To widen the network of the fashion textile businesses
- To assist in the promotion and development of small and medium enterprises in Yorkshire, especially those who’s scope of production is related to fashion, textiles and accessories.
