Naturally Beautiful, quietly confident and a modern crafted vision is how Crystal
Padmore describes her fashion aesthetic. She mixes chunky hand crafted knits with
delicate bamboo jerseys to create soft flowing silhouettes with lovingly hand knitted
features. With a strong environmental ethos, Padmore creates stunning bespoke pieces
made by her own hands that strictly adhere to her environmentally friendly philosophy.
Born
in Oxfordshire, Crystal Padmore, studied at Oxford and Cherwell valley college where
she won a fairtrade design competition for Topshop. Padmore designed and sampled
a fair-trade bag that was picked to go onto Topshop shelves in the oxford street
flagship store in 2008. They were sampled in South America where her tutor and friend
Maria Skoyles was able to teach the machinists new skills and techniques and supply
a fair wage and decent working conditions for the women who made up the bags.

this opportunity I have been obsessed with environmentally friendly fashion for the
planet and for the people who live and work along side the industrial process of
an apparel item."
In 2008 Crystal Padmore went to study her degree in Fashion and
Innovation at Leeds College of Art. During her time at college, she undertook placements
with Mudpie trend forecasting company, helped with the charitable brand Ive Seen
Action and worked with Feng Ho, Award winning ethical fashion designer. Her much
awaited graduate collection Coincide, under the brand name Crystal Padmore, established
her signature hand crafted, naturally beautiful style and has executed her environmentally
friendly ethos.
Padmore has collaborated with many artists including photographer
Jennifer Peters, graphic designer Ian Edward Prentice, website designer Dave Hawkins,
and animator Alex Shackleton. "It was a great opportunity to be able to work with
other people who enable the best outcome possible for the brand but also to try things
I wouldn't necessary do alone."
Crystal Padmore is currently undergoing the launch
of her own Label, Crystal Padmore, extending the Coincide collection and products
will be available to buy from www.crystalpadmore.co.uk towards the end of the year
