Hello my name is Philadelphia Jengaenga Awotona (P A J COUTURE) I  am an upcoming fashion designer based in Leeds.  Fashion is my life and my designs are inspired by art, culture, everyday life and environment.  The designs are also inspired by my passion for bridal infused with strong interest in tailoring.  I studied bridal wear at the London College of Fashion last summer.

As a designer I work with fine fabrics, apply contemporary structures, contrasting lines, various textures, and complementary colours and they displayed in my designs.  In most of the designs I aim to produce sophisticated, edgy and high end finished look. The designs are friendly to the environment, “some recycles fabrics and avoiding wastage of resources in the design process”.

Taking part in this show is very important to my brand because it provide the brand with a strong identity and a starting platform also to gain recognition as a new brand in the industry.  It help me with confidence and to meet other designers in the industry and to share experiences.
